Testimonals

"I first met Joshua Brooks, physical therapist in the Fall of 2018. He came to treat my arthritic hands. The treatment included hot wax and manipulations of hands and all fingers. We started a schedule of twice a week for a few months. It felt great!

I turned 80 that November. My balance was precarious and Josh believed that physical therapy would help. We kept up the same schedule for PT and Josh provided me a sheet of PT exercises. He called them "Sink Exercises" that you do in front of your kitchen sink in case you lose your balance. They helped me a lot since I could do them on the off days when Josh was not there. Weather permitting we took walks outside.

In all my therapy sessions Joshua Brooks was always most courteous, professional and friendly. He is the kind of therapist that lifts your spirits and creates confidence in you. No one will ever go wrong having Joshua Brooks as their personal therapist!"

"I went to Josh looking for some relief from the pain a shoulder surgery was causing me. I was ready to get back to my life and out of the slump the initial injury had put me in. Josh’s upbeat and compassionate personality had me looking forward to PT sessions regularly. The therapy he implemented had me feeling less pain, gaining more mobility and range of motion daily, but most of all, feeling stronger, healthier, and more like myself after every visit. Josh’s vast knowledge of various exercises had me confidently working on my PT both with him and at home for optimal results. I’m so grateful for the support and guidance I received working with Josh, he truly exceeded my expectations."

"I first met Josh in November of 2023 as a result of a right rotator cuff revision performed by Dr. Henney. During my initial meeting with Josh I found him very professional, helpful and anxious to assist me in my recovery from my recent surgery. He assisted me in going over the necessary paperwork and explained the plan of care we would be following. When we started therapy I found Josh to be very attuned to a gentle approach to my therapy not pushing too much to fast. He was very encouraging with any progress that I made weekly. Unfortunately I was not able to complete my entire course of therapy for my rotator cuff revision due to needing further surgery, this time on my lower back. I am anxious to complete my rotator cuff therapy and start therapy on my lower back. I would definitely recommend Josh as a therapist who puts the needs of his clients first."

"Josh worked with my son Rowan immediately after he suffered a full ACL tear. Rowan was determined to get back on the court quickly to help his team. It was amazing how quickly Rowan responded to his therapy with Josh. Josh's ability to make therapy fun and the way he quickly bonds with his clients was very impressive. We truly appreciate everything Josh has done for our family!"

"We started seeing Josh to help my teen-age child during multiple chronic tick borne illnesses. While we were definitely dealing with pain, the biggest hit we noticed was to strength and stamina. Josh has been fantastic, helping to build back that strength and stamina, even through illness regressions, always keeping it fun, dynamic, and low stress. Since then we have had other family members come through his door. Josh was able to recognize a very dangerous medical situation in my husband and trusted his gut, urging him to have immediate follow up with an appropriate provider. Without Josh’s strong words and concern, our family might look very different now. I cannot recommend Josh highly enough."
